Oven Barbecue Chicken Breast Halves

Ingredients Preparation
4 chicken breast halves [approximately 2 1/4 pounds / 1 kg]
1 [10-ounce / 284-mL] can tomato soup concentrate
2 tablespoons [30 mL] packed brown sugar
1/4 cup [60 mL] vinegar
1/4 cup [60 mL] vegetable oil
1 tablespoon [15 mL] Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon [5 mL] garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon [1 mL] Tabasco sauce [optional]
4 cups [1 L] hot drained boiled noodles
Preheat oven broiler.
Mix together tomato soup concentrate, brown sugar, vinegar, oil, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder and, if desired, Tabasco sauce.
Skin then arrange chicken breast halves, bone side up, onto the wire rack of a roasting pan.
Brush chicken pieces with some of tomato soup mixture.
Broil chicken pieces 6 inches [25 cm] from heat source for 25 to 30 minutes, brushing often with tomato soup mixture, turning chicken breast halves once at half-time.
Salt and pepper before serving, along with hot drained boiled noodles.
