Easy Coleslaw

Comments: Cabbage can be shredded up to 1 hour ahead of time and kept in the refrigerator along with ice cubes; drain if necessary before using.

Ingredients Preparation

3 cups [750 mL] really finely grated or minced cabbage
1/4 cup [60 mL] minced onion

Salad Dressing

1/3 cup [80 mL] mayonnaise or salad dressing
2 teaspoons [10 g] sugar
1/2 teaspoon [2.5 mL] salt
1/2 teaspoon [2.5 mL] celery seeds
1 tablespoon [15 mL] vinegar



Into a large bowl, mix together mayonnaise or salad dressing, sugar, salt, celery seeds and vinegar until sugar is completely dissolved.
Well mix in grated or minced cabbage and minced onion.
Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
