Maple Cayenne Bacon

Maple Cayenne Bacon



Ingredients:



1 pound bacon



¼ cup pure maple syrup



⅛-¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper



1. Preheat oven to 375°F



2. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.



3. In a small mixing bowl, stir together cayenne and maple syrup.



4. Place bacon in a single layer over parchment and with a pastry brush or, better yet, a



small flat artist's paint brush, brush bacon slices with syrup and bake for 15 to 20



minutes until bacon is cooked but not crisp.
