Bacon Wrapped Dates with Goat Cheese







24 Medjool Dates, pitted (available in the produce section of grocery markets)



1/2 Cup Goat Cheese



1 Pound Sliced Bacon, slices cut in half







Preheat oven to 400 and line a baking sheet with foil. Stuff each date with about a 1/2 teaspoon of goat cheese, roll the stuffed date up in a slice of the halved bacon and secure each one with a toothpick. Place the wrapped dates on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15- 20 minutes or until bacon begins to crisp, turning them halfway through cooking. Serve warm.
