Great thing about Disney musicals

Watch The Hunger Games Catching Fire Online But the great thing about Disney musicals actually isn’t the super highend songs. Sure, I love "Circle Of Life" as much as anyone else, but if you had to choose one truly remarkable standout thing about the Disney catalog, it has to be its almost absurd depth. There are Sporcle quizzes devoted to having people guess 100 classic tracks found in the company’s movies. 100! What other studio could you possibly do that with? And thanks to the upcoming Frozen, which is getting great reviews, there are likely to be at least a couple added to the treasured pile in the very near future.

Watch The Hunger Games Catching Fire Online So, in honor of the soon to be released magic and the history of great Disney musicals, let’s give some love to great Disney songs that aren’t constantly praised like "Beauty & The Beast". Here are 10 wonderful Disney songs that don’t get enough credit… if you are somehow not one of the 51 million plus people who've liked Vin Diesel on Facebook, you should probably get on that. Aside from tweeting personal photos, heart-warming affirmations, and occasional set pics, Diesel occasionally answers questions from fans with his signature mix of openness and mystique. In one of these informal facebook Q&As, Diesel recently dropped some curious claims about the upcoming Kojak remake, suggesting Life of Pi helmer Ang Lee might helm:

Watch Thor 2 Online Obviously, these three nouns aren't enough for us to say Lee is definitely on board for the project. It could be that he's in talks or just that he's on Fast and Furious star's wish list. But it's worth noting that Diesel has been known to drop real movie news on facebook before. Last January, he announced the trailer for Fast and Furious 6 would premiere at the Super Bowl. Long before he was announced as the voice of Groot in Guardians of the Galaxy, Diesel took to facebook to tell his fans he'd had a meeting with Marvel. So, could the cryptic message mean Lee is in being eyed for Kojak? Possibly.

Watch The Hunger Games 2 Online Universal Pictures is producing the Kojak movie, inspired by the 1970s TV procedural that starred Telly Savalas as a lollipop loving New York City cop known for his catchphrase, "Who love ya, baby?" The studio behind the Fast and Furious franchise could well be willing to make Diesel happy by giving him some pull in this proposed project. And clearly he has a pick for the director's chair. But is this a helming gig Lee would want? Frankly, that's anyone's guess.

Watch Thor The Dark World Online The Taiwan-born director began his career making touching dramas in his native land, like Pushing Hands, The Wedding Banquet and the Academy Award-nominated Eat Drink Man Woman. The last of these led his first entirely English-language production, the ambitious adaptation of Jane Austen's novel Sense and Sensibility. This won plenty of Oscar attention, as well as a screenwriting award for Emma Thompson. Then Lee followed it up with a chilling family drama set in 1973 Connecticut, The Ice Storm. And in 2000 he masterfully leapt into an entirely different genre with the awe-inspiring martial arts fantasy Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. This led to him landing the showy superhero actioner Hulk, which he dizzyingly followed with the tender romance Brokeback Mountain. Then of course last year, he showed hacks what 3D could do with the breathtakingly beautiful Life of Pi.

Watch The Best Man Holiday Online Over a decade has passed since Smith first bought the rights to the remake, and it has seen several directors and writers attached over the last few years. Do they have what it takes to live up to the original? Here’s what they’re up against: There's an interesting time gap that exists between the events of Matthew Vaughn's X-Men: First Class and Bryan Singer's X-Men: Days of Future Past. While the former was set in 1962 - allowing to use the Cuban Missile Crisis as a backdrop - the sequel finds the same characters in 1973. We've spent months scratching our heads trying to figure out both the explanation for the time jump and figuring out exactly what happened within that decade-plus amount of time. Thanks to the new viral video you see above, posted by Nerdist, we now have a few new answers.

Watch Last Vegas Online As it turns out, a little over a year after the events seen in X-Men: First Class, Magneto, as portrayed by Michael Fassbender, found himself caught up in the conspiracy to kill President John F. Kennedy. While it sounds like there isn't enough evidence to fully support the theory as fact, the fake documentary says that the villainous master of magnetism actually redirected the second shot fired by Lee Harvey Oswald's in book depository and had it kill the Commander in Chief (which, I suppose, is the X-Men movie universe explanation for the "Magic Bullet." But the story goes even deeper than that.

At the end of the video there is a link for TheBentBullet.com, a website entirely dedicated to "JFK and the Mutant Conspiracy." It's a pretty intricate website with cool slideshows, cool doctored images and video presentations, but the coolest thing about it has to be the long essay titled "The Bent Bullet" from an author named Harper Simmons. For being entirely based on a fictional history it goes surprisingly in-depth, and should be a fun read for all comic book readers out there. It’s always the same songs. There are about a dozen beloved, universally recognized classic Disney tracks, and they repeatedly populate, in some order, Top 10 lists, cover version CDs and various productions. I get it. During one of my elementary school talent shows growing up, no less than three people sang "Colors Of The Wind". Why? Because that song was 1) new, 2) popular and 3) awesome. What more could a little kid possibly want out of a talent show backing track?
