There is no truth to the rumour

Watch Riddick Online Based on a script by Mitch Glazer, who previously worked with Murray on the absolutely awful film Passion Play, the new movie tells the story of a "burned-out music manager" who flies off to the Middle East when his last remaining client signs up for the USO tour. After a series of events, the protagonist finds himself alone, broke and stranded in Afghanistan without a passport - but his fortunes change when he meets a young girl with a beautiful voice. She has dreams of starring on the Afghanistan’s equivalent of American Idol, and the main character helps her get to Kabul so that she can compete.

Watch One Direction This Is Us Online Said Glazer in a statement about the new director and star being attached to the project, "Bill Murray and Barry Levinson are the perfect team to capture the lunacy, heartbreak and hope of this story. I’m ecstatic." Murray may be picky when it comes to scripts, but don't confuse that for thinking that he only stars in great projects. As great as Murray's collaborations with Wes Anderson have been, the last few years of his career are peppered with some critically panned titles like Hyde Park on Hudson and A Glimpse Inside the Mind of Charles Swan III. Passion Play, however, was its own special kind of awful, and it's honestly surprising that Murray would be so quick to work from a Glazer script again. Remember, this was the film that Mickey Rourke trashed even before it was released:

Watch We're The Millers Online As we noted in our Summer 2013 Winners and Losers wrap-up, R-rated comedies were a huge success in the last couple of months, and one of the biggest hits among them was certainly Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg's This Is The End. Made for a rather small $32 million, the film rode solid critical reactions and lots of fan buzz to a box office total of $114 million globally. Thanks to the positive reception there are many out there who are kicking themselves for missing the movie while it was in theaters, but I have some good news: you're about to get a second chance.

Watch The World's End Online With This is the End's Blu-ray/DVD release date still a little less than a month away, Sony Pictures has announced that they will be re-releasing the comedy back into cinemas for an unspecified amount of time. According to a press release from the studio, the movie will be entering approximately 2000 theaters starting this Friday, September 6th. Said Rory Bruer, president of Worldwide Distribution for Sony Pictures, in a statement, “This Is The End really struck a chord with comedy moviegoers this summer. For everyone who didn’t get a chance to see it – or saw it and loved it and wants to see it again on the big screen – we are thrilled to have it back in theaters.”

Watch Closed Circuit Online This actually sounds like a really smart move on behalf of the studio. The only wide release coming out this weekend is Vin Diesel's Riddick, and there isn't too much comedy competition out right now other than We're The Millers (which is now four weeks old) and The World's End (which has sadly already sunk down to eighth place at the box office). On top of that, it's simply a great way to remind audiences how funny the film was and encourage them to buy the Blu-ray/DVD when it comes out. It's pretty much a no-lose situation.

Watch Getaway Online This is The End is easily one of the funniest films to be released this year, and while its story is rather simple it makes up for it by being incredibly hilarious. If you haven't already seen the film I would highly recommend checking it out this weekend, and if you have already seen it then you're probably already thinking about going again. You can watch a new TV spot announcing the re-release below. Yesterday we brought you a fuzzy rumor that Benedict Cumberbatch was in line for a role in Star Wars: Episode VII. Today we are obligated to bring you the denial from his representative. Talking to The Daily News the Star Trek Into Darkness and Sherlock star's rep said this:

“There is no truth to the rumour Benedict has been cast in Star Wars. I think the rumours are circling because JJ and Benedict have just recently had a wonderful time working together on Star Trek .”you know it's an official rep for a British actor when they put the extra "u" in "rumor," right? So should you buy this denial? Depending on how skeptical you feel like being. Rumors that emerge before official sources are ready to confirm them are routinely debunked even if they turned out to be true, like Hugh Jackman's X-Men: First Class cameo. Cumberbatch himself has been more than complicit in jerking our chains, repeatedly insisting he wasn't playing Khan in Star Trek Into Darkness when, well… this happened. If Cumberbatch's reps didn't deny the Star Wars casting rumor, it would only fuel the fire saying it was true. So they had to speak out and say it wasn't happening… even if all that means is that no one is ready to admit that it's happening.
