Before it was a Tony Award-winning musical on Broadway, it was a weird and wonderful adaptation of the Roald Dahl book about a brilliant little girl who used her telekinetic powers to get revenge on the bullying adults that made her life hell. Whoa. It sounds a lot like, Carrie, now that I think about it…but starring lovely little Mara Wilson, Matilda was a delight that many of us who were kids in the '90s revisted often. And it made us cooler people as adults since it gave us an early exposure to the likes of Danny DeVito (who co-starred and directed), Rhea Perlman, Embeth Davidtz, and Pam Ferris! And as you can see above, someone got the whole gang back together for a totally enviable Matilda reunion party.
