Watch Man of Steel Online Remember Matilda? Of course you do. Before it was a Tony Award-winning musical on Broadway, it was a weird and wonderful adaptation of the Roald Dahl book about a brilliant little girl who used her telekinetic powers to get revenge on the bullying adults that made her life hell. Whoa. It sounds a lot like, Carrie, now that I think about it but starring lovely little Mara Wilson, Matilda was a delight that many of us who were kids in the '90s revisted often. And it made us cooler people as adults since it gave us an early exposure to the likes of Danny DeVito (who co-starred and directed), Rhea Perlman, Embeth Davidtz, and Pam Ferris! And as you can see above, someone got the whole gang back together for a totally enviable Matilda reunion party.

All in all, she's good. Thanks for asking.

Whether she's tweeting about the awesomeness of donuts, her joy over the recent Supreme Court rulings regarding marriage equality, or fan theories that she and Daniel Radcliffe are the same person, she's got Twitter down. This week, while we're all still celebrating the end of the Defense of Marriage Act, we wonder why increasing public support of gay relationships has barely been reflected in film at all. Watch Fast and Furious 6 Online Over two weeks in February, people could vote on a selection of names or suggest their own, and ultimately 450,000 votes were cast. However, Showalter knew better than to leave this entirely up to the whims of the internet. So, he made the caveat the final name must somehow tie into Pluto, the Greek god of the underworld. This meant that names like Eurydice, Alecto, and Persephone were okay, but paired names like Stephen and Colbert, Mickey and Minnie, Potato and Pota(h)to were dismissed. But Wired has revealed that things got sticky when William Shatner and the might of Star Trek fans got involved.
Watch The Way Way Back Online Thwaites got his start on Australian television, first appearing on the 2011 series SLiDE and then moving to the long-running soap opera Home and Away. Maleficent, which is directed by Robert Stromberg and also stars Juno Temple, Elle Fanning, Sharlto Copley and Miranda Richardson, will be in theaters July 2, 2014. Did you know that if you discover a celestial orb (planet, asteroid, moon, what have you) you get to name it? Yeah, it's not just a common device in movies and televisions shows. But when SETI Institute scientist Mark Showalter discovered two new moonstemporarily dubbed P4 and P5circling the demoted-to-dwarf-planet Pluto, he decided to leave their names for the world to decide. The Wrap says that Bridges purchased the rights to the story over two decades ago and has been working to make a film version since. And that time could possibly be coming very soon. Provided that everything goes as it should over the next few months, the site offers the possibility that production could start this fall in South Africa, possibly opening the movie for the chance at a late 2014 release. Noyce, who is also Australian, last directed 2010's Salt (coincidentally starring Jolie).
When the first Captain Kirk found out about Showalter's poll, he called out to his Twitter following to vote for his suggestion, "Vulcan." The name tied nicely into Pluto's mythology as Vulcan was the Roman god of fire, metal working, and volcanoes. Of course, it also ties beautifully into Star Trek lore, as Vulcan was the home planet of Mr. Spock. With Shatner's boost, the name Vulcan shot to the top of the poll with 170,00 votes, followed by Cerberusthe three-headed hellhound that guards the gates to Pluto's underworldwith 99,432 votes. But there was still one obstacle before the names were official: they had to be approved by the International Astronomical Union. Some recent tweets from Shatner will tell you how that went: With his new film Pacific Rim, director Guillermo del Toro has done more than told a simple story- hes created an entirely new sci-fi/fantasy world. Its a cinematic universe where an inter-dimensional portal has ripped open on the floor of the ocean and has begun spilling out giant, horrific monsters called Kaiju that threaten to tear the world apart. Leaving the human race to begin the construction of skyscraper-sized robots called Jaegers to fight them off. Its a world filled with new technologies, new social order and new economic possibilities for example, the sale of Kaiju organs as holistic medicines. This afternoon I was pleasantly surprised to discover that Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures had sent me a special package in promotion of Pacific Rim, celebrating one of the coolest details of the movie. After tearing open the cardboard box the package was sent in, I discovered a fairly large, metal suitcase with no distinct markings on the outside.
