Expensive Purchase so need some advice

I need to buy a food mixer as mine has given up, my current one was my mother in laws and handed down so it has done quite well.
Anyway, I never realised how expensive these things are and how many choices and options there are.
I have been researching (Amazon) and seem to have settled on this one Amazon.com: has anyone bought one? Reviews online are good but don't really have the money to waste if it's not good quality.
