Denny’s Pancake Puppies

2 cups pancake mix that uses water
1 cup water
confectioners sugar
oil for frying

Heat vegetable oil to 350 degrees.
In a medium-sized bowl combine pancake mix and water.
Stir until well blended.
Use a 1-ounce cookie scoop to drop the batter into the oil.
Cook until browned on the bottom, and flip over and cook for another 30 seconds.
Remove from oil, and drain.
Sprinkle with sugar.
Serve with maple syrup.
