Traveling and pay as you go gyms (Smokey87)

Does any one have any tips for traveling the uk and gym trips? By this I mean in my new role I'm spending a lot of time in random city's around the UK. Iv tried to book hotels with gyms 90% of the time there rubbish. Lots of them are not as advert..
