Cut through live cable on hedge cutter (Muscle)

It happened yesterday, the trip switch didn't go off either. I didn't cut straight through, just caught the cable. I remember doing this around 7 or 8 years ago and the trip switch did go off. However this time I was bare foot. Also I didn't realise right..
