Switching to 'lesser known' utilities companies (dirtyvest)

Anybody found this an issue.... I've just switched from e.on to a company called gnergy as the saving is potentially quite substantial, particularly as they're about to go up by 9%, but I've always been wary of 'the little guys' before as to whether they'..
