Places in Spain for Renting villa and things to do? (sos)

Was thinking of renting a villa somewhere in Spain and going with my gf and group of a few other couples, but want to rent one in a good spot where there would be quite abit to do e.g. Near town, water sports/parks, amusements or something along them line..
