Festive Cheese Wreath
Servings: 1 wreath
Ingredients Preparation
1 [8-ounce / 227-g] pack cream cheese
1 [16-ounce / 454-g] pack Old Cheddar cheese, grated
1/4 cup [60 g] grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup [60 mL] chopped sweet green pepper, membranes removed and seeded
1/4 cup [60 mL] chopped green onions
1 tablespoon [15 mL] milk
1/4 cup [60 mL] freshly chopped parsley
1/4 cup [60 mL] roasted pecan pieces
1/4 cup [60 mL] tiny dices sweet red pepper, membranes removed and seeded
Chopped parsley, ;to garnish
Sweet red pepper pieces, membranes removed and seeded, ..., to garnish
Mix together cream cheese, grated Old Cheddar cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, chopped sweet green pepper, chopped green onions and milk.
Drop spoonfuls of mixture, shaping a large ring [use a small glass bowl in the center], onto a serving plate.
Smooth top of ring with a spatula.
Remove glass bowl.
Sprinkle ring all over with a mixture of chopped parsley, roasted pecans pieces and tiny sweet red pepper dices.
Chill for 2 hours.
Just before serving, sprinkle wreath to taste with chopped parsley and sweet red pepper pieces.
