I want to make a recipe blog about chocolate creations.
I also want to monetize it and at the best make a decent living from it.
I want to offer the visitors something unique and helpful so they give me their email address, something like an eBook or tutorial videos. Later I will sell the people who signed up products from amazon, maybe kitchenware or eBooks with high quality content.
But I am not sure what people who are looking for dessert/chocolate recipes want. Or to specify it:
What should a blogger offer you for free or for a price that you say: Oh, that is great, I want to get this!
Noone is buying a recipe book, if a website offers dozen or hundreds of free recipes.
What could be so great to compel you to leave your money?
