What Rain Jacket do you wear in this crabby weather? (Faux Real)

How do you keep dry when you are out and about? Its still quite warm so a big old rain coat won't do it. Do you go for one of those hi-tech breathable North Face style rain coats? Or just keep a packdown cagoule in your bag? Rain eh?..
