Blending oil for frying?

I'd like to fry potatoes (ff) in tallow for a commercial business. It seems expensive to do so. Can I mix/blend a cheaper oil to lower cost but still maintain flavor. If so what other oil would you suggest? My cooking temps will range 350-375f.
