No-bake Ancient Grain Bars
Ingredients
1/4 cup light brown sugar
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup almond butter
3 cups Cheerioes + Ancient Grains
1/4 cup dried cranberries
1 tablespoon flax seeds
Instructions
1. Lightly oil the bottom and sides of an 8x8 baking dish and set aside.
2. In a large saucepan, melt the sugar, honey and almond butter until it is smooth. Add in the cereal and stir until it is evenly coated with the mixture. Then stir in the cranberries and flax seed.
3. Press the mixture into the oiled baking dish and use a spatula to smooth out the top. Cover the pan and place the bars in the fridge to chill until hardened, about 2 hours. Remove and slice and serve.
