Bruschetta Tasting Chef's Ground Beef Patties

Comments: A regular barbecue sauce has the perfect tomato taste to get basic ground beef patties.

Ingredients Preparation

1 pound [454 g] ground beef
1/4 to 1/3 cup [60 to 80 mL] regular barbecue sauce
3/4 to 1 cup [190 to 250 mL] dry breadcrumbs
Barbecue sauce, to brush
4 slices Mozzarella cheese

Garnishings

Chopped tomatoes, to taste
Ripe olive slices, to taste
Grated Parmesan cheese, to taste
2 tablespoons [30 mL] any Italian salad dressing



Preheat barbecue to medium intensity.
Into a bowl, mix together ground beef, barbecue sauce and dry breadcrumbs.
Shape mixture into 4 patties of the same thickness.
Barbecue patties onto hot barbecue rack for 10 minutes, turning once.
Mix together chopped tomatoes, ripe olive slices, grated parmesan cheese and Italian salad dressing.
Serve ground beef patties, topped with a slice of cheese, then with garnishings.
