Easy Creole Meatloaf





2 lbs lean ground beef

3 slices white bread

2 eggs, beaten

1 c onion

1/2 c celery, chopped

1/2 c green bell pepper, chopped

2 garlic cloves, minced

1/4 c milk

1/4 c ketchup (separated)

1 T Worcestershire sauce

1.5 t Creole seasoning

1/8 t black pepper







Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a loaf pan or baking pan with non stick spray.

Soak bread in milk. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients except for 1/2 the ketchup and shape into a loaf. Place meatloaf into pan. Spread the remaining ketchup over the top of the meatloaf. Bake, covered, for 45 minutes. Remove cover and bake for an additional 30 minutes. Let stand 5 -10 minutes before slicing.
