Is it legally possible to declare your home an independent state? (faipdeooiad)

Very theoretical question here but if i decided to, would I be able to declare my property an independent state? I.e. If one was to set yourself up, denounce UK citizenship and go it alone? I know there would be huuuuuge issues with stuff like curre..
