Dog vet bill (dementia)

My dog has a skin allergy, quite bad, so has to take prednisolone, 25mg daily. Been to the vets, and 100 x 25mg tablets are £121, way to much so he wrote me a prescription, cost £3. Been online and can get same tablets http://ift.tt/1zIObgg..
