While filming is happening now, Daredevil isn't expected to air until sometime next year - which is definitely sad news (though it will be available to binge-watch on its premiere date). Hopefully it won't be too long before we get our first look at the new costume for the lead, and when we do you can be sure that you'll find it here first.starting at 10 p.m. at night and extending sometimes well past midnight. In a lot of ways, Comedy Central is a lot like Adult Swim, but unlike Swim, I’m glad the cable network doesn’t limit itself to animated programming, instead offering laughs via some animation, some live action, some sketch comedy, some talk programming and some stand-up. There’s a lot of variety in humor, and Comedy Central doesn’t shy away from any branch.

We’ll have to wait until September for a lot of the network’s biggest programs to hit the schedule. South Park and Key & Peele are both coming off pretty big seasons at the network, with the former putting together a memorable Game of Thrones-esque episode and the latter gaining more traction in the ratings spurred by good word-of-mouth. (Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele’s hilarious appearance on FX’s hit series Fargo also may have helped). It’s always tough for the smaller networks to premiere shows during the same time period as the big networks, but that’s likely why Comedy Central is only betting on its Wednesday lineup at the end of September.

Comedy Central hasn’t really started advertising the network’s upcoming seasons, but keep your eyes peeled in the coming weeks for a look at the brand new episodes. In the meantime, here’s a look at 8 new shows the network has coming up. Believe it or not, there are just three episodes remaining in the final season of True Blood. There are a few characters who seem to be in mortal danger, and by the preview for "Almost Home," we can add two more to the list. Vengeance is on the horizon for one vampire who doesn't take too kindly to betrayal!

In addition to Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/Daredevil, the new Marvel Studios series also stars Vincent D'onofrio as The Kingpin, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, and Rosario Dawson in a mystery role. Unlike the films we've seen so far from the Marvel Cinematic Universe and even Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., the series is expected to be much smaller in scope and focus on street level crime. Daredevil is actually one of four Marvel shows in the works at Netflix, the others being Luke Cage, Iron Fist and Jessica Jones, and the plan is to eventually have all of the shows link up for a Defenders minseries.
