He might be willing to reassign some hiatus practice time in order to make a movie, but he’s certainly not going to mess around with the actual season. So, all of his scenes have to be shot after the NBA Finals in early June and before the start of training camp at the very beginning of October. If not, the movie will have to be pushed to the summer of 2015.

With James’ star power and Hart’s incredible charisma, this project could actually work pretty well. It’ll need the right script, but in steady hands, there’s no reason to think that won’t happen. The supporting cast is filled to the brim with talented stars, including Emma Stone, Edward Norton, Naomi Watts, Andrea Riseborough, Zach Galifianakis and Amy Ryan. The movies doesn't have a release date just yet, but it is set to be distributed by Fox Searchlight and is expected to come out some time next year. Marvel Studios released five solo films on the path towards making The Avengers, making sure that all of the major characters got proper introductions so that it actually meant something when they all came together. These new developments with the Man of Steel sequel suggest that the filmmakers and the studio aren’t comfortable with the one-hero-at-a-time route and want something that closely resembles a Justice League film sooner rather than later. The risk that is run with this is just piling too much into one feature, and as Iron Man 2 and Spider-Man 3 showed us, the results can be less than desirable.
