Chili's Molten Chococlate Cake

Chili's Molten Chococlate Cake

Using a dark chocolate cake mix (18.75 oz.), prepare as directed on box (1 1/3 c. water, 3 eggs, 1/2 c. vegetable oil) and pour 1/2 cup into each of the greased cups of a large muffin tin.

Bake until they test done; remove and allow to cool.

These cakes are served upside down so you may have to use a serrated knife to cut off any "domes" from the top of the cakes that will not allow them to stand properly.

Using a small sharp knife cut a round hole in the center of each -about 1 1/2-inches round and 1 1/2-inches deep.

Using hot fudge topping, spoon about 2 T. into each hole.

They are now ready to be frozen.

When ready to serve, re-heat in a microwave, drizzle some caramel topping onto a plate, place your warm cake on top, scoop a nice serving of ice cream on top and pour on the chocolate Magic Shell.

Enjoy!

I've made these using various cake flavors and toppings and ice creams - so do it your way as well.
