the urge for a hamburger -

Did you ever get a craving for a nice juicy, homemade burger, slathered in total goodness?

Well - I satisfied my craving!

I like potato bread and potato rolls - and since I purchased a package of potato dinner rolls - I thought a juicy slider would be good.

Ground sirloin, minced onion, minced garlic, Kosher salt, cracked black pepper, parsley, beaten egg, fresh bread dipped in milk and torn into bitty pieces and a good splash of tomato sauce (or you can use condensed tomato soup), gently combined (you don't want them tough) and shaped into thick "baby" patties.

Skillet fry in olive oil and butter (great combination! a must try) - well done for me please.

Add sliced onions to the pan - place on the heel of your dinner roll, top with burger, fried onions, lettuce, tomato slice, fresh onion slice (oh yeah - love onions!), slather on the mayo with a sprinkle of more cracked black pepper and squeeze a couple sliced dills in there.

Oh so good!

And never, never, never press down on your burgers when cooking - you lose all those luscious juices that flow with every bite!

And don't forget a slice of cheese of choice if you want!
