The celebrated comedian who starred in such sidesplitting movies as The Valet, My Best Friend and Jean-Pierre Jeunet’s Micmacs became a cheered director back in 2008 with the release of Welcome to the Sticks (or Bienvenue Chez Les Ch’tis as it’s known in France). The comedy he co-wrote, helmed, and fronted proved a big hit with critics and audiences in his native land, and even drew the notice of Will Smith, who pondered an American remake. Now, Boon’s looking to follow these achievements with a big breakthrough in America.
Watch Baggage Claim Online Deadline reports Boon has recently moved to Los Angeles, and will make his Hollywood debut with The Ambassadors from the Fox-supported production company Invention Films. An ensemble comedy penned by Tripper Clancy, The Ambassadors will focus on a road trip that begins in Heathrow Airport in London, England, then treks across Europe. Along for this hijinks-laden journey is a batch of international characters that bond in helping an American get home in time for a life-changing event. Whether that event is a baby, a funeral, or a wedding has not yet been released.
Watch Muscle Shoals Online Boon will direct the continent-traversing comedy, but there’s no word yet on whether he intends to also co-star. However, that seems likely as Boon has so far taken on the roles of actor and director in Welcome to the Sticks, his 2006 directorial debut La Maison Du Bonheur, the 2010 odd couple comedy Nothing to Declare, as well as the upcoming Supercondriaque, which will open in France on March 26th, 2014.

First up, the fish-out-of-water laffer Welcome to the Sticks: Don Jon is really only about a few things. His body. His pad. His ride. His family. His church. Hi boys. His girls. It's that last part that really starts causing him trouble in Don Jon, the directorial debut of Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who also transforms himself as the titular charter, a classic Jersey bro who has to learn the hard way that immersing yourself in {omitted}{omitted}{omitted}{omitted} is no actual way to live your life. Especially when there's a girl who looks like Scarlett Johansson who wants to have an actual relationship.

The dust is still settling on the Batfleck announcement, with stars and fans still grudgingly taking sides on whether or not the casting of Ben Affleck is a great idea or a horrendous one. With a whole month having gone by since this news hit the internet like a bomb, it’s about time someone asked former Batman George Clooney what he thinks of the Batfleck brouhaha, and thankfully Empire (via Comic Book Movie) did just that. Notably, Clooney and Affleck recently collaborated together on Argo; Clooney as producer and Affleck as producer, director and leading man. As star of the infamous Batman & Robin, Clooney is well aware of the downside to playing the Dark Knight, and declared:

Is it me?” I mean, like the meme goes:
Watch GI Joe Retaliation Online In related news, in addition to the above TV spot, Summit also released a new International Banner for the film, which shows off some of the cast, including Ford, Butterfield and Kingsley, along with Viola Davis, Hailee Steinfeld and Abigail Breslin. Set mere moments after the end of the first movie, the sequel begins as inventor Flint Lockwood (Hader) – who created the miraculous machine that can turn water into food – gets the opportunity of a lifetime when he is offered a chance to work for his childhood hero Chester V (Will Forte) at the world-leading technology company Live Corp. Traveling with his girlfriend/weathergirl Sam (Anna Faris), his dad (James Caan), the talking monkey Steve (Neil Patrick Harris), and friends Brent (Andy Samberg) and Officer Earl (Terry Crews), Flint movies to the town of San Franjose to start his new life, but finds himself called back to the island of Swallow Falls when he discovers that not only is his invention still operational, it’s actually started to produce living food animals.
