Octoberfest Dijon Mustard Crackers







1 Octoberfest smoked sausage

1 tablespoon [15 g] butter, softened

1 tablespoon [15 mL] Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon [15 mL] freshly chopped parsley

12 any desired crackers

Red onion slices, to garnish







Into a nonstick skillet, cook sausages over medium-high heat for 2 to 3 minutes, until fully cooked.

Leave to drain onto paper towels; leave to cool completely before slicing into 25 slices.

Into a small bowl, mix together softened butter, Dijon mustard and freshly chopped parsley.

Evenly spread butter mixture over crackers.

Top each with a slice of smoked sausage.

Garnish with red onion slices, and serve.
