Justice League movie fell apart

Watch The Wolverine Online In the movie, Damon stars as Max De Costa, an ex-con/factory worker living in a future where society has been completely divided by class. While the poor and middle classes try to survive on what's left of the planet's resources, the rich people of the world have all moved to Elysium, a space station where all crime, sickness and violence has been eliminated. When Max is involved in an accident at work, however, he is left poisoned and with only a few days to live. The only way for him to survive is to somehow get to Elysium - a mission that he tries to accomplish with the help of some friends from his former life of crime and an exoskeleton suit that gives him extraordinary strength to compensate for his weakened state. Jodie Foster co-stars as Secretary Rhodes, the principal antagonist who lives up on Elysium, while the stellar supporting cast includes William Fichtner, Sharlto Copley, Alice Braga, Diego Luna and Wagner Moura.

Watch The Conjuring Online This partner dynamic mirrored that seen in countless action duos made of up males. You save my life; I save yours—because we are partners. But more striking is Logan’s use of the gender-neutral word “friend” to describe Yukio. If he had said, “Don’t hit the girl” the implication would have been Yukio was less than him. Here, it’s clear that Logan doesn’t see Yukio as some precious thing that needs protecting (like Mariko) but as an equal whose well-being he cares for. Yukio is definitely no object of jeopardy. And as her character is suggested to be similar to Logan’s—a mutant loner who was taken in by a family she grew to care for—her characterization grows with his.

Watch The To Do List Online Given that Man of Steel has already made $630 million worldwide, there was very little chance that director Zack Snyder and screenwriter David Goyer wouldn’t be returning for the sequel, and last week that news was made official when the Superman/Batman movie was announced at Comic-Con. While the movie doesn’t have an official start or release date yet, Warner Bros. has confirmed that production will start next year and that the finished product will be hitting theaters some time in summer 2015. Snyder is developing the story alongside Goyer and while we don’t know how far along in the process they are, presumably they have at the very least started working on the first draft.

Watch RIPD Online When Warner Bros. announced at Comic-Con that they would be moving forward with a Superman/Batman movie, they didn’t include a plot synopsis telling us what the movie is about – but titles for the film mentioned by Goyer suggest that the film will have the two heroes at each other’s throats. During the panel celebrating the 75th Anniversary of Superman, the screenwriter told the audience, “We’re actually not sure whether the title is Superman vs. Batman or Batman vs. Superman but yes, it’s–that rematch, that combination, the two guys onscreen and that’s happening.” Combined with Harry Lennix’s aggressive “Dark Knight Returns” quote at Comic-Con and the fact that Warner Bros. has registered both BatmanvsSupermanMovie.com and Batmanvs.Superman.com and there appears to be a good amount of evidence suggesting that Superman and Batman will be enemies before they become friends. Watch The Conjuring Online Following in the footsteps of Marvel Studios and starting to build a larger cinematic universe, Warner Bros. is making the Superman/Batman movie both to introduce a new take on the Dark Knight and to build on what has already been established with the Man of Tomorrow. As was expected, Henry Cavill will be returning to play Clark Kent/Superman and will continue to learn how to live up to his destiny while also trying to find his place in humanity. And something tells us that he will probably have to deal with the fact that Man of Steel not only had the hero killing his enemy, but also leveling half of Metropolis in the battle beforehand.

Watch The Heat Online You didn’t really think that the sequel to Man of Steel would only be bringing back Superman, did you? In the studio press release that was sent around announcing the Superman/Batman movie it was confirmed that the 2015 title will also feature the return of Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, and Diane Lane as Martha Kent. Without a plot synopsis it’s impossible to tell how these actors/characters will fit into the story, but a baseline guess would be that the film further explores the relationship between Clark and Lois, sees more of the hero at work at the newspaper, and has Supes returning back to Smallville at some point to visit his mother.

Watch World War Z Online Sony Pictures will release Elysium in theaters nationwide next week on August 9th, and you can catch the movie's full trailer below. For a long time it was said that Warner Bros. and DC Comics were prepping a Justice League movie for release in 2015. Seemingly a reaction to the incredible success of Marvel’s The Avengers, it looked like we were finally going to see heroes like Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern and The Flash unite on the big screen in live-action for the first time ever.

That’s no longer the case. After months of reports, rumors and speculation, the dream of a 2015 Justice League movie fell apart. But in its place, rising from the ashes like a phoenix, is an entirely different project for comic book fans to be excited for: a Superman/Batman movie.
