Its simple to make, delicious and will leave you covered with heaps of praise.

Ingredients:
2 cups chickpeas (soaked all night or canned)
5 cloves of garlic, chopped
Bunch of parsley
½ small onion, finely chopped
½ cup chopped coriander
1 heaping tablespoon sesame seeds
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon cumin
½ teaspoon of salt
Pepper
Oil for deep frying
Preparation:
Drain the chickpeas and place in food processor with the garlic, onion and spices.
Process until the texture is uniform and smooth. If necessary, add some water.
Put the mixture in a bowl, add the remaining ingredients and mix well.
Cover and leave in the fridge for half an hour.
Heat enough oil for deep frying.
Form balls using an ice cream scoop (if available) and fry each ball until golden.
Serve table with warm pita bread.
